| Upward Basketball is a national sports
evangelism program that is thriving all across our land. There
are literally thousands of children playing basketball and
hearing about Jesus Christ through Upward Basketball. Children
who play Upward Basketball benefit from rules and procedures
that are designed to help each child develop their basketball
skills, their character, and their knowledge of Jesus Christ
all at the same time. |

| There are four things that make Upward
Basketball unique: |
- Every child is created equal and as such will
receive equal playing time
|
- Great strides are taken to promote competition but
to keep the emphasis away from winning at all costs
|
- Practice is limited to one hour each week with one
game each week for eight weeks
|
- In order to emphasize the spiritual development of
our children a five-minute devotion is held at each
practice
